1971 Smith-Corona Electra 110
Smith-Corona had, for decades proved themselves a dominant force in typewriter manufacturing. Electric machines were becoming common place in the office as well as the home by the 1960's and used many of the mechanical features and body construction techniques found on its manual cousin. The Smith-Corona Electra 110 was extremely popular and was truly a portable electric typewriter of the highest quality, competing mainly with the IBM Selectric which was without doubt the complete office machine.
